The Dambo sofa by B&B Italia, designed by Piero Lissoni, consists of a large modular system that combines irregular geometric shapes with rectangular modules, offering various compositions and usage possibilities. The irregular pentagon-shaped elements appear flexible and serve as chaises or independent seats, while the high, enveloping backrests evoke organic botanical forms.
The armrests, resembling adjustable petals, add versatility. A combination of five base elements, ergonomic and soft, allows for different configurations, harmonizing informal yet functional geometries. Made with state-of-the-art padding, the sofa features discreet die-cast aluminum feet, conveying lightness and elegance.
The internal structure is solid, composed of steel tubes and profiles. The padding of the internal frame is made with cold flexible polyurethane foam Bayfit®, covered with polyester fiber. The cushions are padded with polyester fiber, and the covering is available in fabric or leather.
Suitable for various spaces, the Dambo sofa seamlessly integrates into contemporary environments, bridging homes and domestic work areas.
