Serralunga was founded in Biella in 1825. It was named after the family that has lead it for several generations.
Founded as a tannery, the company decided to concentrate on hide leather on an industrial level. Later, they introduced plastic moulding when they imported a rotational moulding system from the United States.
For almost two centuries, Serralunga has been based in the same city where it originated, Biella, in a 12 thousand square meter factory with 65 employees. They process over 1200 tons of plastic every year, to make a total of 200 thousand products.
