The German designer Bernhard Dessecker came up with the Iconic Eyes pendant lamp, which features a striking appearance and a novel design. It's an oval arrangement of LED light sources and several lenses made to look like the classic round car headlights that are so typical of the BMW MINI.

The illumination of Iconic Eyes can be adjusted. The smaller version of the lamp, model 85, measures 88 cm in height and 60 cm in width, while the larger version, model 161, measures 119 cm in height and 77 cm in width.

Originally developed to adorn the foyer of Munich, Germany's Bavarian National Museum, Iconic Eyes has become a symbol of cutting-edge design, thanks to its timeless elegance and subtle (but recognizable) strangeness.
