KTribe Wall Flos

Philippe Starck's wall lamp design for Flos, the KTribe, is emblematic of his exploration into democratic and functional design.

The diffuser is made of thermoplastic material, which is either clear or smoked along the outside surface and metallic grey or bronze along the inside surface. This helps to increase the amount of light that is dispersed uniformly. Steel is used for the construction of the wall joining element in the shape of a square section. The exterior of these structural elements is finished in a zinc metal alloy, which is long-lasting, adaptable, and good value for money. A remote dimmer manages the lamp's brightness by adjusting the voltage sent to the bulb from a distance.

The KTribe wall lampcan be accommodated in any setting and with any furniture, thanks to its design, which is both ergonomically thoughtful and formally diverse.
