Tight Light Flos

Piero Lissoni's Tight Light wall lamp for Flos is an excellent example of how form and function can harmoniously coexist.

The lamp's graphic design and minimalist aesthetic make it suitable for use in a variety of environments.

The direct or indirect light emission happens in a twofold fashion, both upwards and downwards, from the aluminium core body. With a well-spaced horizontal feature at the wall's junction, the vertical growth of the core building is countered to maximize light spread. The lateral friezes in die-cast aluminium are instrumental in creating the rigid volumes and geometric lines that can be seen in the profile. The lamp's body contains the components of the power supply system integrated therein.
