In 1952, Charlotte Perriand created the 527 Méxique coffee table for Cassina.
The set of coffee tables comes in a variety of forms and sizes, and each one is made up of parts that are triangular in shape but have curved edges. The backing surfaces are available in either a lacquered or solid wood finish. The frame is made of metal that has been coated black, and it stands on three thin legs that point toward the ground.
They are positioned one at a time beneath the base's four corners.
Given its minimal and linear style, this set of coffee tables may complement virtually any contemporary living room set. The bold profiles and harmonious proportions are the product of a full analysis by the designer, who, even before thinking about aesthetics, thinks of the practical ergonomics of the object in favour of the needs of the user.
