MR Table Knoll

The fact that the MR Table by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe was present in four units in the renowned Villa Tugendhat in Brno, which is today a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is only a confirmation of the immense value that anyone can clearly see in the item at every glance.

The table, produced by Knoll, is characterised by a steel base with cross-shaped structure. The base combines circular and rectangular tubes, all with a chrome mirror finish. The top of the MR Table has a round shape and a diameter of 72,4 centimetres and it is made of clear glass.

The great German-American architect and designer’s minimalist aesthetic vision is well synthesised in the celebrated motto “Less is more” and has in the MR Table one of its most successful tangible expressions.
