The Fulgens chair, like the tiny armchair in the same series, has an enveloping shape that nods to traditional forms like the Thonet while updating them with contemporary materials and approaches.
The entire seat and backrest are encased in a firm polyurethane shell that has been varnished with rubber. Comfortable seating is achieved with the addition of upholstery made of leather or fabric to these components. The entire framework is crafted from solid wood.
