Bertoia Side Chair Knoll

The painter and sculptor Harry Bertoia designed a whole collection of chairs for brand Knoll, starting from experiments with simple metal wires. The Bertoia Side Chair, part of the Bertoia Collection, has been an icon of comfort and functionality, practicality and refinement, for nearly seventy years.

The Bertoia Side Chair has a rounded shell, made with bent metal wires that create a net structure. The base structure is thin and lightweight.

The chair is completed by a chrome or gold finish and it is available with or without pad for the seat. A pad for the backrest is optional. The modern technique of powder coating makes Bertoia Side Chair available also in black and in other colours.
