Saarinen Executive Chair Knoll

The Saarinen Executive Chair by Eero Saarinen for brand Knoll is one of the greatest classics of the company’s collection and was frequently used by Florence Knoll in her interior design projects.

The item is perfectly suitable for a dining room as well as for an office and it is immediately recognisable for the central hole that characterises the lower part of its backrest. Comfort does not depend on padding’s depth, but on the chair’s sculptural shape.

The chair can be with or without arms. The legs are in steel (with chrome or 18k gold finish or black paint) or in wood. The Plastic Back version, exclusively without arms, features a non-upholstered plastic backrest.
