CH468 Carl Hansen

The CH468 Oculus Chair is inspired by some photos and a small model from the 1960s found in the studio of the designer Wegner. In 2010, Carl Hansen & Søn initiated the production of this chair after recovering the original technical drawings.

The name "Oculus" comes from the Latin word for "eye" and refers to the eye-shaped stitching on the backrest, designed to provide support to the shoulder blades and comfort to the neck and back. The spacious backrest, inclined armrests, and soft seat cushion give the chair a distinctive design. Crafted with a stainless steel frame with elegant lines and inclined legs, the CH468 Oculus Chair stands out in any setting and can be paired with the CH446 Ottoman.
