KK53130 Carl Hansen

The walnut and leather armchair, model KK53130, designed by Kaare Klint, a prominent figure in the contemporary Danish design movement, was conceived on the occasion of the jubilee in 1935 at the renowned Carl Hansen & Søn factory. As part of the themed competition, Klint presented an array of distinctive proposals, among which the refined Easy Chair stood out.

The Easy Chair was characterized by a generous seat cushion beautifully filled with feathers. It gained global acclaim for its impeccable structure and harmonious proportions, lauded for the evident modern approach in its taut lines and compositional precision, solidifying its creator's legacy in the field of interior design.
