Imprimatur Maxalto

The Imprimatur armchair has a linear shape that is essential and visually light. The chair, which was created by Antonio Citterio for Maxalto, is characterised by clean, geometric lines and well-proportioned cushions.

The chair's lower base has a painted steel edge, and its forms are clean and straight. The heavy upholstery softens the otherwise angular shapes. The visible velvet or fabric stitching that pinches each edge, reinforcing it and giving each element its own personality, is a design feature unique to each volume. One can choose between a leather or fabric covering for the armchair.
