Metropolis Baxter

Designers Draga & Aurel created the Metropolis bed for Baxter, which soon became the room's focal point and a multifunctional piece of furniture.

The sommier system, consisting of four detachable bands of the same poplar and fir plywood as the headboard and finished in leather on the reverse, was developed after careful consideration of the headboard's practicality. The beech wood was used to craft the feet. The structure of the bed is lightened on a formal and functional level by the soft padding, which has a differentiated density, which invites the customer to enjoy relaxation by letting himself be embraced by the iconic design of this piece of furniture. This lightens the bed on both formal and functional levels.
