Ninfea Baxter

Baxter's Ninfea bedside table was created by Pietro Russo.

The unusual construction of this classic piece of furniture is made up of folded and joined strips of solid maple. This method conceals the joinery and keeps the wood's grain intact and enhanced throughout.

There is the option of having a leather covering or having the upper support surface made of solid wood. Its form harmonizes beautifully with the luster and adaptability of the base material. Metal is used in the construction of the supporting structure, and satin brass is used for the toecaps. The dynamic interplay between the solidity of the metal and the negative space between the pieces is a testament to the artist's command of both technical and stylistic means.
