Designed by Lella and Massimo Vignelli, Mesa Table is produced by Poltrona Frau. It combines extraordinarily clean shapes with the character of stone: its round top is made of slate from Liguria, its base is a truncated cone in pietra serena (grey stone). The slate surface is characterised by beautiful natural veins.

Since it was conceived, in 1985, Mesa has been an icon of simple refinement. Between the top and the base, a steel connecting element gives a touch of lightness to the whole.

Lella and Massimo Vignelli are among the most distinguished masters of Italian design history. During their long career, they worked both as industrial designers and as graphic designers.
