Kendo Alf DaFré

The Alf DaFrè collection is enriched by the Kendo sideboard, created by Meneghello Paolelli Associati.

This project fully encapsulates the essence of Japanese culture, particularly the reverence for swords and martial arts. The unique cut that defines the surface of Kendo gives life to a composition of staggered elements that interact with each other through a blending of shapes and finishes. The 30° angled cut creates two doors with misaligned panels, offering a pleasing geometric play that is further emphasized during the opening and closing of the elements.

The Kendo sideboard is enhanced by the contrast between different lacquered finishes and wood tones, creating a beautiful chiaroscuro effect. The composition ranges from playful to elegant, depending on individual taste.
