Gemma Baxter

Draga & Aurel created the Gemma chair for Baxter.

As a result of careful consideration given to the chair's ergonomics, the available space can be optimally utilized. The Gemma chair is a perfect example of how industrial design can be put into practice; Baxter used a design process that prioritized the user's input as much as the chair's functionality while creating the chair.

The armless chair's refreshed form of the basic structure in satin brass rod in favor of a design that proves helpful and versatile sets it apart. The circular backrest and seat both have the option of being upholstered in leather, and its underlying structure is built of solid beech. The line of the seat is drawn with a sophisticated elegance by the stitching that is visible and completed in leather.
