Mario Bellini is credited with designing the 405 Duc-Duc couch for Cassina. Bellini's definition of the home landscape is reflected in the seat's smart design, which facilitates a greater sense of connection to oneself and the environment around you.
The 405 Duc-Duc sofa has been the subject of a large number of inventive procedures, which have resulted in the sofa being both more important in terms of design and more comfortable to use. Both the two- and three-seater variants of the seat's construction are created by panels attached using a zipper, and the side cushions have been removed from prior iterations.
The sofa, which has a daring and unique design, is nevertheless creative in terms of the material used as upholstery for the cushions. The entire sofa is upholstered with recycled fiber recovered from the oceans, and velvet is used as a finishing touch.
Cassina LAB created the eco-friendly design project.
The seat's legs are constructed entirely of wood for maximum durability.
