Inspired by the artworks of Constantin Brancusi, Studio Simon created the Constantin coffee table for Cassina.
The three-part base is depicted by curvy, rounded forms. The central element is circular, while the two surrounding ones are semi-circular and extend perpendicular to the surface they rest on. Oak wood is used for the finishing on the entire construction, and the density of each element is adequate enough to ensure that it will receive proper support.
Circular in plan, the tabletop's laminated brushed surface is finished in brass around its periphery. The top does not rest on the framework below it but rather emphasizes the junction rings made of nylon and brass.
The Constantin coffee table is a seamless integration of fluidity and continuity, making it an ideal addition to any room.
