Description

Using a clever play on perspectives, designer Ron Gilad created the Deadline mirror set for Cassina, combining cutting-edge carpentry techniques with cutting-edge design.

Gilad's works are set up as hybrid objects in which materials become an intrinsic component of the artist's investigation and inquiry into the perception of the senses at the intersection of the abstract and the practical. The overlapping or interlocking of various shapes gives each mirror its own distinctive perception of rhythm, which distinguishes it from other mirrors.

One can really experience the artistic personality of each component. Each mirror features a solid ash frame that can be removed for cleaning and has obvious joining parts to showcase the quality of the cabinetry.
A metal plate is used to secure the unit to the wall in order to achieve the desired mounting effect.
