Description

The Esosoft Armchair, created by Antonio Citterio for Cassina in 2023, offers a refined blend of materials and techniques to enhance outdoor environments and ensure optimal comfort.

Part of a broad en-plein-air collection based on an exoskeleton supporting a handwoven fiber shell, this armchair skillfully combines industrial and artisanal aesthetics. The basket, with its wicker-like weave, accommodates cushions that can be freely positioned on the backrest, allowing for customization of the seating experience. Thanks to research by Cassina LAB, the cushions are padded with circular materials such as organic polyurethane and recycled PET batting, covered with water-repellent fabric. The metal structure features visible screws to facilitate recycling of components at the end of the product's life cycle.

The Esosoft Armchair is ideal for outdoor settings such as gardens, terraces, and lounge areas.
