Description

Galaxy is a pendant lamp designed in 1949 by Charles and Ray Eames, now produced by Cassina. It was born from the innovative use of components sourced from the automotive industry, creating a unique and striking burst of light.

This extraordinary creation was first presented at the "An Exhibition for Modern Living" at the Detroit Institute of Arts, but it was never produced at the time due to technological limitations. Today, thanks to Cassina, this masterpiece finally finds its place in the world of contemporary design.

The lamp consists of 36 stems of varying lengths (15, 30, and 45 cm), offering a perfect balance between innovation and timeless design, delivering both an extraordinary visual impact and remarkable functionality.
