Charlotte Perriand created the Riflesso cabinet for Cassina.

Soft and sinuous forms characterize the unique design of this classic piece of furniture. The support surface has bevelled edges as a clear reference to Japanese culture, which serves as a reoccurring motif in the designer's design as well as their creative research.

The aluminium shelves and doors, along with the solid beech knobs, give the Riflesso collection an enduring style that works with any décor. Elements of the structure are composed of fibreboard. The decisive profiles and harmonious proportions are the result of a rigorous analysis performed by the designer, who, even before thinking about the aesthetics, thinks about the gestures that can emerge from the object. The consequence of this analysis is the creation of decisive profiles and harmonious proportions. The materials, settings, and places reflect the users' preferences, and it is this design research that results in the form.
