Charlotte Perriand created the Table en forme libre in 1928 for Cassina.
The flowing and sinuous asymmetries that define the table are a harmonious fusion of technical prowess and creative leeway. With its great volume and round profile, this support surface is comfortable for up to eight people to gather around. Two identically sized cylindrical legs plus an additional, much more substantial leg with an oval cross-section make up the skeleton of the support structure.
The table's warm and friendly aesthetic is a testament to the outstanding skill of the artisans at Cassina, who have mastered the art of working with real mahogany down to the veins and intricacies.
There is also a version with a glossy or matt lacquer finish, available in a wide range of colours, in addition to the solid wood option.
