Obon Ceccotti Collezioni

Obon is a suspension lamp by Ceccotti Collezioni, whose design is inspired by the objects of the traditional Japanese festival of the same name, held every August in honor of the deceased. A symbol of this celebration are the Chōchin lanterns, made of paper, which guide the spirits of ancestors during their annual visit to their loved ones.

The Obon lamp, inspired by these lanterns, stands out for its lightness and large size, becoming a symbolic gathering point for families and friends.

Characterized by a mix of materials, Obon features a central cylinder in white opaline glass, outer rings in American walnut, a diffuser covered in silk, and pull cords in aged brass. The suspension is available in various color variations and textile patterns, customizable with fabrics or wallpapers of choice, including a version in shellac.
