Rondine by Ceccotti Collezioni, designed by DRAW Studio in 2017, is an armchair crafted from certified FSC solid American walnut wood. While it may seem like a tribute to classic Scandinavian design, its construction techniques reveal Ceccotti's strong tradition in woodworking.
The influence of the 1950s and 1960s is evident in the generous curves of the seat and the oval backrest. The backrest, made of curved plywood and padded, can be upholstered in fabric, leather, or natural leather, while the padded, curved seat rests on turned brass pivots. The armchair skillfully combines technology and craftsmanship, with a rear structure that opens like a swallow's tail, forming the supporting legs and providing stability along with a distinctive shape. The backrest is attached to the wooden frame with screws concealed by brass discs that are magnetically connected.
