Bon Jour Flos

Philippe Starck's design for Flos's Bon Jour table lamp can be seen as a synthesis of the canons of reduction and lightness that the designer so ardently sought to achieve in his work.

The materials used to create this style icon are a direct reflection of the designer's approach to design and manufacturing. Innovative Edge Lighting Technology, in which light sources are mounted around the frame's periphery rather than at the back, is responsible for dispersing light evenly around the room. Both the diffuser and the base stem structure are composed of a clear plastic material, which is notable for its resilience while also being very lightweight.

The dimmer, which controls the on/off status and brightness of the light, is positioned on the power cord.
