KTribe Floor Flos

Philippe Starck's KTribe floor lamp for Flos is a symbol of design research that adheres to the principle of a functional and progressive aesthetic.

The diffuser is made of a thermoplastic material and has an outer surface that is clear or smoked and an interior surface that is metallic grey or bronze. This helps to increase the light that is dispersed widely. The support base for the stem is terminated with a square plane that conceals the power line and an electronic dimmer that allows for the intensity of the light to be adjusted. These structural elements have been finished in a zinc metal alloy, which is long-lasting, adaptable, and good value for money.
