Designed by Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzu for Flos, the Parentesi 50 suspension lamp is a prime example of dynamic elegance in its minimalistic form.
The sliding of the body of the directed light along the axis of support provided by the vertical tubular steel ensures that direct light will diffuse across the room. A steel wire acts as a counterbalance to the entire structure, holding the axis in place between an upper cast iron base that is fastened to the ceiling and a lower cast iron base that is fastened to the floor. These vital components are protected by a silicone casing that comes in the same colours as the lamp body.
The lamp has an electrical dimmer switch along the power wire that allows you to regulate the light intensity at different levels.
The Parentesi 50 suspension lamp has a linear shape that makes it look like it is floating and is very light. It looks great in any room and with any kind decor.
