Jehs+Laub Lounge Collection Knoll

The Jehs+Laub Lounge Chair is an armless chair born from the creativity of the German designers Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub. Introduced in the Knoll catalogue in 2009, it is inspired by some of the brand’s greatest classics.

The quilted upholstery reminds of Florence Knoll’s and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s projects, whereas the sinuous and welcoming shape of the shell reminds of Harry Bertoia’s creations.

The shell is in synthetic material, it features a soft foam padding and it can be completed by various upholstery materials. The base is in metal and it can be a four-leg base or a pedestal base. The pedestal allows a 360-degree rotation and it features an automatic return-to-centre mechanism.
