Risom Side Table Knoll

In the year 1943, the Danish-American designer Jens Risom completed the first collection ever commissioned by Knoll: the 600 Series, also known as the Risom Collection.

An icon of the rich simplicity of this collection is the Risom Side Table: this features a veneered square or circular top and it is 45,7 centimetres high (in the square version) or 50,8 centimetres high (in the round version). The table celebrates the beauty of its material: the maple wood characterises a light-coloured version, whereas the American walnut wood is the protagonist of a brown variant. The third variant is black-painted and includes both types of wood.
