Tulip Stool Knoll

The architect and designer Eero Saarinen had a remarkable inclination for research and experimentation. His exploration of elegant and harmonious pedestal structures, which could replace the classic four-legged structure, led him in five years to the creation of the Pedestal Collection, which includes the Tulip Stool.

Created for brand Knoll, Tulip Stool has a refined shape accurately modelled by Saarinen’s incredible sculptural sensitivity. The Stool’s structure includes an aluminium base with white, grey or black finish. The base is also available with a swivel mechanism. The circular seat is in fibreglass and features a cushion whose upholstery can be chosen in various colours.
