Blow Away Moooi

The Moooi Blow Away vase is hand-painted and crafted from high-quality Delft porcelain to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

The concept of a sudden windstorm that hits an object and deforms it without causing it to fall over provides the impetus for this piece. Very advanced digital techniques were used to create the illusion of motion.

The Swedish designers Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren of the Front group conceptualized the Blow Away vase. Their work is marked by a high degree of innovation.

Royal Delft, a famous Dutch maker of excellent ceramics since the seventeenth century, is responsible for the object's actual fabrication.
