Charleston Moooi

The Charleston armchair is a perfect example of the extraordinary style of Moooi. The product of Studio Marcel Wanders's ingenuity, it was born out of the desire to break convention by playing a radical and alluring game with traditional silhouettes.

The finished product of such a game is a couch positioned in an upright position!

The Charleston armchair is quite analogous to a traditional vintage sofa, with the exception of its placement. It has a high-resilience foam cushion, a steel and wood frame, and is coated in dark brown eco-leather.

With a width of 120 cm, the seat accommodates one or two individuals and corresponds to the armrest on conventional sofas.

The Charleston sofa imparts an unmatched level of surrealism to the design of any room.
