Urban Mandalas Moooi

American designer Neal Peterson came up with the idea for the Moooi brand's Urban Mandalas rug, which is round and measures 250 cm in diameter. Its intricate mandala-like design is the result of a montage of Mexican symbols and motifs. A meditative and meaningful picture is produced from the union of the shape, which is rooted in Indian culture and a harmonic and balanced conception of the cosmos, with the beauty of one of the cities that the artist carries in his heart.

The rug is crafted from fleece, and its production involves methods that are intended to have as few deleterious reactions on the natural environment as possible.
