Maggiolina Zanotta

Maggiolina by Zanotta, designed by Marco Zanuso in 1947, is an elegant and modern chaise longue. The frame is made of polished stainless steel or satin nickel, available in various finishes including black, natural, and orange, while the shell is crafted in pigmented leather 90. The seat is padded with polyurethane and Dacron Du Pont, while the backrest cushion is filled with goose down for optimal comfort. The cushions, armrests, and upholstery are available in fabric, Ecofire, or leather, offering a wide range of customization options.

The design draws inspiration from an affordable and removable armchair Zanuso created for a MoMA competition in New York, characterized by a curved tubular steel frame and a "bag" of canvas containing plywood panels.
