Sacco is the iconic ergonomic armchair born from the design of Gatti, Paolini, and Teodoro, for Zanotta in 1968. The creators, with a disruptive gesture, presented a shell of high-resistance expanded polystyrene with internal polystyrene beads, ideal for every type of customer that spread like wildfire.
After fifty years, Sacco continues to embody the essence of Italian design, receiving the Compasso d'Oro ADI career award in 2020.
Today it is offered with coverings available in Vip, Tulip, Pied de poule, and leather. The Vip materials are fire-resistant and antibacterial thanks to the Silverguard® treatment, while the Permablock 3® treatment makes them stain-resistant. The Tulip and Pied de poule versions are also removable.
Its versatility and informal elegance make it suitable for any environment, confirming it as a timeless design icon.
