Some of the most important pieces from the Lapalma office collection have been placed in the interior design project created by DEGW for the well-known Microsoft House in Milan.
The furnishings have been placed in an area of 7500 m2, in the iconic Herzog & de Meuron building. They were the unmistakable focal point of an innovative new concept for creating an office based on smart working and worker well-being.
Lapalma’s proposals harmonised immediately with these spaces, offering versatility, contemporary style and the best interpretation of the “New World of Work”.
This concept has been developed in an approach to the professional dynamics oriented towards greater flexibility, the use of functional spaces and innovative technology.
The main theme of the entire layout was “integration”, or rather a style of design that abandons the individual dimension to lean towards concepts that encourage collectivity and the perfect “interlocking” of different tasks.
In this way, single workstations develop into truly flexible, modular systems that can integrate together perfectly and adapt to existing architecture.
Sharing takes the place of individuality, and encounters, relaxation and teamwork become the “motor” of the office.
In order to satisfy these needs, the Lapalma furnishings, based on the idea of a “light office”, fit perfectly into spaces laid out for dynamic interaction.
Some of the products from the Lapalma brand: the Add Classic modular sofa, the Rondò 90 round table, and the padded Add Square bench.
