One of the most interesting outdoor furnishing collections from the brand Bivaq is Illa by Andrès Bluth. Illa is a family of contemporary pieces that reflect the classic values of outdoor furniture with an additional touch of style.
This collection of mostly chairs and tables stands out for its resistance to damage from weather and climate, its comfort level and especially its minimal need for maintenance.
The underlying concept was the desire to have a line of “softer” and more welcoming pieces. Illa has all of the best features of traditional garden furniture, but the structures of the pieces are made with rods and round tubes to form smooth, flowing shapes instead of the typical corners that we usually see on classic outdoor pieces.
Specifically, in this collection we will find: armchairs for dining tables, chairs, low tables, dining tables and an apparently “new” element to our usual concept of outdoor furnishings: a fire pit.
This last element is circular, just like the tables in the collection, and could be defined as a new type of “fireplace” made in aluminium to warm up cool summer evenings in an original way.
