Summer is in full swing and many people will have the chance to go to the sea at some point, to dilute the African heat that is pouring over our peninsula with regular dips in the water.
Nearby Liguria, for residents of northern Italy, will surely be one of the main destinations for spending time at the beach in its many wonderful seaside locations.
In particular, Porto Venere, the “pearl” of the Ligurian coast and now a UNESCO World Heritage site for its breath-taking landscapes, has also become an ideal destination for furniture and design enthusiasts.
It will be the focal point of a “restyling” of the harbour area managed by Living Divani, a specialist in seating systems and indoor and outdoor furniture.
The outdoor armchair Hi Tech has been selected for the harbour. This futuristic and well calibrated chair created by Piero Lissoni in 2005 is still one of the most significant pieces in the collection.
Along with Hi Tech, the harbour will also be outfitted with a composition in the colour grey of the Extrawall sofa, also designed by Piero Lissoni, but in 2002.
The goal is to create an elegant and relaxing oasis in the harbour area of this beautiful town, to make it more interesting for visitors and tourists.
