During the last Salone del Mobile, the brand Sicis presented several new pieces. Their collection was designed with harmonious volumes, rigorous lines softened by special products and materials, and floors and walls enhanced with unexpected custom details.
Designed by architect Marco Lucchi, their presentation platform was made to resemble a "Lounge Bar" where the brand’s best products — including mosaic tiles in glass, steel, fabric and other materials — were displayed in striking two and three dimensional combinations. These combinations are perfect for public spaces such as real lounge bars, restaurants and hotel halls.
Regarding the new furniture collections, the most appreciated pieces are timeless and absolutely charming, with thin well-balanced frames that perfectly match the richness of natural materials. Wood, marble and fabrics with compact weaves interact to create strong visual dynamism.
Lastly, the true revelation was undoubtedly the installation by architect Marco Piva, “My Private Boutique”, which consisted in a large, functional walk-in wardrobe where clothing, accessories and everything necessary for one’s "private life” could be stored. However, it was designed to look like a boutique, with a captivating and scenographic style of presentation.
One of the products featured in this installation was the new Vetrite, an innovative type of mosaic tile developed in different finishes to personalise accessories and furniture as desired.
