Autoban took part in the furnishing phase at the Stock Exchange Hotel, a luxury hotel inside the ex-headquarters of the Manchester Stock Exchange, a historic building located in the city centre.
The space has been recently transformed through a meticulous renovation project, and now offers luxury flats and boutiques of various types, which can satisfy even the most discerning clientele.
The hotel has 40 rooms, including two elite suites, a penthouse and a restaurant created under the large cupola that for decades was the exchange’s trading floor.
Autoban brought its custom-made furniture to the project, and many pieces were fashioned from precious materials such as original marble, brass, glass and wood.
The exclusive rooms have sumptuous interiors decorated with refined pale colours and textured fabrics.
Autoban customized furnishings were personalised for the occasion to give the rooms an intimate touch. Some of the pieces are the iconic Nest chair, the Union sofa, the Throne chair and a new personalised collection of beds.
The hotel also has a large penthouse known as the "The House", where Autoban contributed with several custom-made pieces of furniture. The House has three bedrooms carefully constructed with private baths, two separate living room areas, a kitchen and dining room with a terrace on the room that offers a view of the Manchester skyline.
Lastly, the hotel also features the Bull & Bear Restaurant, now managed by the starred chef Tom Kerridge, which is located under the striking cupola ceiling of what used to be the large trading floor of the exchange.
The room has been decorated with marble and oak elements, and furnished with padded loveseats and chairs upholstered in soft green leather. Here also, the interiors were designed entirely by Autoban.
