For the Milano Design City exhibition, held in Milan from 28 September to 10 October, B&B Italia presented The New Landscape, its new collection for 2020, designed by internationally acclaimed architects and designers.
The collection focuses on how domestic space should be “lived” with a new attitude after many months spent at home during the health emergency. In fact, the home has also become a place for reflection and experimentation, as well as for work and relaxation. Domestic space is interpreted here as a refuge where people can take a deserved break from daily stress.
To present the new collection, the brand put some of the most noteworthy pieces on display in its showroom. These include Blitz, the large sculptural table by Mario Bellini that looks like a suspension bridge; Liagò, the cabinet by Piero Lissoni inspired by the logge in Venice; Naviglio by Yabu Pushelberg, a system of curvy padded furnishings; and Cutter, the new chair by Mario Bellini that pays tribute to the works of Lucio Fontana.
A few icons of the brand are also present, including the timeless Camaleonda seating system by Mario Bellini, which is being re-released in a contemporary style after 50 years.
The result is a home that becomes a new panorama when seen through the “lens” of B&B Italia. Home is where beauty and creativity accompany every detail of the day.
