For Milano Design City which ended on 10 October, the brand Rossana organised a livestream event moderated by Gilda Bojardi, the director of INTERNI, to launch its new kitchen model ISØLA.
The renovated exhibition space located in the heart of Milan’s Design District was created to allow visitors to get close enough to touch the exclusive furnishings by Rossana. It was the perfect place to discover ISØLA and the infinite options for customizing and installing the new collection.
ISØLA was designed by Carlo Colombo, as a reinterpretation of a historic Rossana kitchen that was received with surprise at the time for its revolutionary content.
In fact, that kitchen was a high end model with a range of uses and functions. The model consisted of a single block with architectural geometries that looked more like a living room piece than a classic kitchen, due to the materials selected.
Today, that model lives on in ISØLA, which is expressed through an open plan kitchen that is prepared to dialogue with the surrounding space. Its well-defined shapes and strong lines are designed to adapt to any type of environment.
This new project tells the story of Rossana’s style through its beauty and its fine materials.
