Baker's Majestic Regency Sofa

Strong, simple and regal: this is how the Regency sofa looks in a living room. Baker took inspiration from English furniture from 1820, characterized with straight rectangular backrests and boldly curved armrests and legs turned to resemble bannisters.

The Regency sofa belongs to a famous and quite large collection (with 30 different pieces) called The Stately Homes which features many contemporary interpretations of historical chairs, sofas, pouffes, cabinets, dining tables, etc.

Elements from the Stately Homes collection are all exquisitely handmade, and used to decorate historical buildings and castles belonging to British and continental aristocrats. Among Baker’s many fans, we would like to mention the princesses and ladies that prefer these furnishings for their luxury homes: Chatsworth, Blenheim and Longleat and several palaces in Russia. Baker has also supplied the furniture for the Academy Awards for many decades.
