Sissi is a splendid chair created by the brand Driade, a self-centred, sculptural contemporary object. The designers, Ludovica and Roberto Palomba, gave the chair a creative centre in the ring in the backrest structure, which forms whirls that join together and seem to be bent by hand by Viennese artisans of long ago.
Sissi was designed to be sensual, but also elegant - a refined object to use every day. Therefore, it was inspired by the Viennese chair par excellence, which is famous for its curved wood.
This stackable chair can be completed with an upholstered seat, and it is formed from a single piece of material. It is perfect indoors and outdoors thanks to its polypropylene and glass fibre structure and flame red feet made of semi-soft polyethylene.
Once again, Driade scores a bull’s eye by creating a contemporary icon destined to be in many famous living rooms where illustrious people meet.
