Knoll Washington DC Showroom Wins Best of Design

The Architect's Newspaper has just announced the winners of the Best of Design Award 2021 and Knoll has won the “Interior – Retail” category for its Washington DC Showroom & Offices. The brand has worked with several architects to outfit its showroom, and this choice was rewarded for the warmth and elegance of the rooms. Knoll’s actual portfolio of living areas shows its double range of excellence: residential and contract furniture.

The splendid velvet Cesca chairs placed around the bar are part of an informal meeting space, and the Rockwell Unscripted Creative Wall is used to define the border between the relaxation area and the office. Samuel Medina, the Executive Director of The Architect’s Newspaper and a member of the contest jury, said that the showroom is a perfectly balanced space that does not reflect commercial logic, but instead welcomes customers in perfect harmony.
