Tate by Cappellini Gets a New Look
Cappellini presents a new edition of Tate, the iconic chair designed by Jasper Morrison, with a completely new look and different finishes. More than twenty years after releasing the original best-selling product, Cappellini wants to celebrate by issuing new models that offer a distinct look while still maintaining the lines of the first edition. One example is the fresh, durable Tate Wood variant, and another is the comfortable upholstered Tate Soft model made in different basic versions (fabric or leather).
Each version is available in a wide range of colours to make the forms of Tate even more versatile.
Tate Color, for instance, is a range of stackable chairs and various stools made in two heights with high or low backrests. These pieces are made of beech plywood painted in the colours: white, mud, anthracite, pumpkin, grass green, petrol and a splendid shade of Prussian blue.
