Acerbis Introduces a New Edition of the Iconic Florian Table
Acerbis is reissuing the unique Florian utility table created by Vico Magistretti in 1989, a project that will be added to the extensive Remasters series. This collection includes one-of-a-kind projects that emerged from reviewing the brand’s historical archives.
The new creative directors Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces decided to resume the brand’s creative path, which started when Acerbis was founded in 1870. They have projected it into a visionary contemporary atmosphere by also beginning to study the company archives.
Florian is as functional and modern now as it was when it first came out, thanks to the extraordinary simplicity of Magistretti. This small lightweight table has two levels and a folding frame that allows it to be hung on the wall, transforming it into a graphic decoration consisting of lines and circles.
Its graphic impact is reinforced today with lacquered shades of mustard yellow, fir green, and red while maintaining the original visual identity of the ‘80s.
